Your life for a bullet please
I have lived 26 yrs. Had countless friends and dear loves. Memories I wish to share and thoughts I have gathered from the experience of living, loving, fighting, winning and losing. I wish no harm. I hate no religion. I love not all, but I hate none.
As days pass by and we innocents bite the bullet, it must be noted that we are the same people who work & live for our children, wives, parents, and siblings. Life isn’t easy, and we fight accordingly to ensure a roof is over our heads and dignity on our faces and carriage.
No one determines my death. Least of all when I am unarmed. I deserve a chance, an opportunity to speak out before I bite the bullet for nothing. I deserve to live, to let live and not build walls of fear around me when I see a bearded gentleman or an unclaimed baggage.
With frayed minds and bodies we plough on to live and fight another day. Why do we get up in the morning? For whom? Is the only sole reason of my purpose is to be gunned down by a freak chance of being in one of the hotels on those fateful days?
I refuse to believe and chuck out any allegations of inequality. We are all divided here. By caste, creed, region, religion and even sex! Does it justify that you (you terrorist) have the right to channel your abundant energies in gunning down people (civilians), people you don’t know and haven’t even met before in your lives?
Freedom isn’t worth fighting for when the blood of innocents is shed. Doesn’t this statement drum enough sense in your egg shell minds. Why do you educated of all, the first among equals indulge in such mindless violence? What drives this bloodlust?
I know there are issues. So get the best on your side to the table. Violence is not the last option, it is not an option. Reason is. Exercise your reason. Show us the best in you all before you come down to the worst. Exercise your reason when you hear rhetoric from your elders or leaders.
I again reiterate the fact. The fact being – my belonging to a certain sect or religion doesn’t determine my affiliation to a certain misguided beliefs my fellow followers may have. In this fracticious world, lets unite and be ruled by reason rather than hate rhetoric.

Thank you Rohit. We must begin the fight, by stopping people who speak negatively about a certain sect of people or blaming a religion. I feel a few misguided souls don’t actually represent a religion. Tolerance, immense patience yes. Its easy to fly off the hook and say – “let’s bomb this place, etc…it ain’t easy and violence only breeds more…sometimes it becomes really difficult not to think this way…sometimes rage takes over..but enough is enough…violence only begets violence. There are better ways to shame these cowards….that is to make sure we don’t breed amongst ourselves “pockets of hate”….its the only way out…write about it, speak about it…the onus lies only upon us to make sure this blid hate doesn’t spread itself…because it slowly is…we must root it out. its our responsibility.
Coudnt agree more…Lets not allow this bubble to baloon itself anymore, lets not make their job easier by gettin back to them or by cornering any particular sect (as u said), instead lets play the same mind games that they are….thy pick young unpolluted minds, wash their brains, tell them stories abt the torture tht their brothrs are facing outside their countries (which is nothin bt stories mend to achieve sme personal goals)and then send them on a path to violence and hatred… unless we talk, unless we show them the true picture till then this will continue…we need to raise this to a bigger platform, we need people to come up and participate and m glad tht sme1 has taken the initiative….
I remember GI telling a strategy is some thing which cannot be judged until it reveals its fruits.

I feel just trying to take a moderate view like that of Rohit is not gonna solve this problem. Like a famous saying in hindi “Laat ke Bhoot, Baatoin Se Nahin Mante”! India needs to react and react fast, hard and deep. The source has to be wiped out like we once wiped out smallpox from the sub-continent. If it has to be a geographical area then so be it. We don’t fear a nuclear retaliation. After all it can destroy a few cities or max an entire state. We can build it up back to normalcy. But let not our entire country be a prisoner to such a fear.
Am also asking the same….if the young people of Pakisthan can ruin this much…counldn’t our young minds do anything for our nation…? Cant they stand together to make a great wall… dont we have the same power of dedication….???
really young minds have to refresh their thoughts…. have to raise…and should have a common voice, having no colour of caste, religion, cummunity, state, or of any Party…..
Stand up….stood up with the nation… Its our nation…..we have to do something to secure it…
